Intern QA Engineer (Paid)
About the role
Nippon IT and Educational Solution (NITES) is seeking a motivated QA Intern to join their team in Galle. The role involves working closely with the engineering team to ensure the reliability and performance of scalable, cloud-native applications. Key responsibilities include API testing using tools like Postman, assisting with automation testing using Selenium, applying basic programming knowledge (Java or JavaScript) to write test scripts, documenting test results, and participating in agile sprints and code reviews. This paid internship is designed to fast-track your career into a Junior QA Automation Engineer role and offers exposure to international standards and Japanese business culture.
Must have
- Academic Level: 3rd or 4th-year university students or candidates with a minimum HND / Higher Diploma.
- Technical Base: Fundamental understanding of the STLC, manual testing, and API testing concepts.
- Code Proficiency: Basic programming skills in Java,or JavaScript.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to find "edge case" bugs.
Nice to have
- The NITES Edge: Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N5 or above) is a significant advantage!
