Transformation and Technology Lead
About the role
The Transformation and Technology Lead at Hemas Holdings PLC will drive the simplification, integration, and continuous enhancement of the company's digital ecosystem. The role focuses on building next-generation Data, AI, and ML capabilities across the group. Key responsibilities include leading technology and data solutions, driving Data, AI/ML, and GenAI-enabled solutions, and overseeing the adoption of Databricks and the Azure/Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The position also involves leading technology transformation and automation initiatives, partnering with business unit leadership, and mentoring Tech/Data Engineers to build digital and data capabilities throughout the organization.
Must have
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data/Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
- 6–15 years of experience with exposure to data platforms, analytics and digital transformation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, data engineering/lakehouse architecture and ML pipelines.
- Practical experience delivering AI/ML and GenAI use cases from ideation to production.
- Working knowledge of SAP RISE, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Experience leading or mentoring technical/data engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, solving and change-management capabilities.
