Senior DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer
About the role
DIGIS is seeking a Senior DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer to manage and enhance cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, platform security, monitoring, logging, and production reliability for insurance and corporate sector clients. The role involves optimizing AWS environments, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing observability and logging platforms, leading incident response, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and secure operations. Candidates should have proven experience in DevOps or SRE roles, strong AWS and automation skills, and familiarity with monitoring, logging, and containerization technologies.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, cloud infrastructure, networking, IAM, and security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux systems, scripting, automation, and version control.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Understanding of centralized logging solutions and log management tools such as the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), OpenSearch, or similar platforms.
- Experience in production incident management, troubleshooting, backup and disaster recovery, and root cause analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
