Security Operating Center (SOC) Analyst
About the role
The Security Operating Center (SOC) Analyst at HDFC Bank is responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events, responding to incidents such as malware infections and phishing attempts, and conducting in-depth analysis to determine root causes and impacts. The role involves collaborating with IT and other departments, performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, staying updated on emerging threats, and preparing detailed reports on security incidents. Candidates must have a relevant degree, experience in network security, and strong analytical and communication skills. The position is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and is suited for professionals with at least four years of relevant experience.
Must have
- A Bachelor Degree from a recognized university in the field of Information Security / Cyber security.
- Knowledge of network security protocols and best practices.
- Minimum 04 years working experience in similar capacity.
- Sound knowledge on vulnerability management and security scanning tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to security incidents.
- Communication skills for reporting incidents and collaborating with teams.
- Age: should be between 35 years to 45 years as at the closing date of applications.
Nice to have
- Relevant security professional qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
