Senior C++ Engineer
About the role
This is a future opportunity for experienced C++ engineers to join the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) talent community in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The role is focused on building deterministic, ultra-low-latency systems for financial markets, with responsibilities including designing and developing high-performance C++ applications, optimizing system performance, collaborating within Agile teams, and mentoring other engineers. Must have
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) and a solid grasp of STL and Boost. Solid understanding of object lifetime, memory management, and ownership.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, multithreading, concurrency, and real-time systems.
- Experience with build and debug tools like CMake, GDB, Valgrind, Vtune, Git, ASAN/TSAN.
- An analytical mindset capable of troubleshooting complex bottlenecks and system failures.
