Field Engineers IT
About the role
ZiTech Solutions (Pvt) Ltd is seeking Field Service Engineers (L1/L2) to provide on-site and remote IT support to corporate clients across Sri Lanka. The role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, IT peripherals, and network infrastructure, as well as diagnosing Windows operating system and hardware issues. Responsibilities include supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and basic network administration, along with maintaining service reports and ensuring SLA compliance. Candidates should have a degree, HND, or diploma in IT or a related field, with relevant experience ranging from fresh graduates (L1) to 2-4 years (L2). Strong technical, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
Must have
- Degree, HND or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Networking or a related field.
- L1 Engineer: 0–2 years of relevant IT support experience.
- L2 Engineer: 2–4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking and troubleshooting.
- Strong Windows operating system troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Problem-solving ability and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for islandwide client assignments.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet service deadlines.
- Professional conduct and client information confidentiality.
Nice to have
- CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA A+, Network+ or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
- Additional qualifications in English Language or Communication will be an added advantage.
- Valid driving licence will be an advantage.
