Solution Engineer / Infrastructure Automation and AI
About the role
The Solution Engineer for Infrastructure Automation and AI will be responsible for driving automation and AI initiatives across IT infrastructure operations, focusing on identifying manual processes and implementing intelligent, automated solutions. Key duties include designing, developing, and maintaining automated workflows and scripts, administering IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, cloud/on-premises), monitoring system health, security, and performance, and managing identity and access controls, backups, and disaster recovery processes. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, significant hands-on scripting/automation experience, and a solid understanding of networking and cloud/hybrid infrastructure. The position is with a leading educational company located in Malabe.
Must have
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognized University/Institution.
- Minimum of five (05) years of work experience after obtaining the educational qualification or a minimum of six (06) years of overall work experience in a relevant discipline including a minimum of one (01) year at an Assistant Manager, Supervisory/Lead role experience.
- Hands-on scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Power Automate, or similar).
- Solid understanding of networking, cloud/hybrid infrastructure and identity/access management fundamentals.
