About the role

The Senior Software Engineer role involves developing production enterprise applications, primarily using the Java/Spring Boot stack and front-end technologies like React/Redux. The position requires designing and optimizing relational databases, working with RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern deployment strategies such as containerization. The engineer will also be expected to analyze complex systems, debug production issues, and work within Scrum/Agile environments. Familiarity with DevOps, cloud platforms (GCP and AWS), and quality engineering processes is important. The company seeks candidates with at least 4 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Must have

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification, with years of experience developing production enterprise applications as specified below: 4+ for Senior Software Engineers
Extensive experience with the Java/Spring Boot stack, along with hands-on knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, performance optimization, enterprise integration principles and modern deployment strategies (containerization principles).
In-depth understanding of front-end development using the React/Redux stack.
In-depth understanding of relational databases, schema design and SQL optimization.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and prior experience working with cloud platforms (GCP and AWS).
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and debug production issues across distributed environments.
Excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with working in a Scrum/Agile delivery environment.
Familiarity with Quality Engineering processes and practices.

Nice to have

Prior experience and hands-on experience with AWS (primarily EC2, ECS, Lambda, Fargate, Step Functions, Infrastructure as Code) and their GCP equivalents would be beneficial.
Experience with modern Al development frameworks, model APIs, and related technologies; hands-on experience with LLMs, generative Al, and agentic Al systems would be an added advantage.
Familiarity with data streaming concepts and related toolsets (Kafka) would be an added advantage.
