ERP Specialist-Orugodawatte
About the role
The ERP Specialist position based in Orugodawatte involves analyzing business requirements and translating them into effective ERP solutions, with a focus on supporting tea auction purchasing, manufacturing, value-added processing, bulk export, and retail operations. The role requires close collaboration with Operations, Finance, and Warehouse teams to streamline workflows, identify process gaps, and implement improvements. Responsibilities include configuring and supporting Odoo modules, gathering user requirements, coordinating technical teams, supporting ERP testing and training, providing post-implementation support, and driving continuous improvement in ERP utilization. Candidates should have a relevant degree or diploma, significant ERP experience, and strong business process knowledge.
Must have
- Degree / Diploma in IT, Business Information Systems, Management, ERP or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP implementation and/or enhancement.
- Hands-on experience in Odoo ERP implementation, enhancement and functional support.
- Strong understanding of business processes, particularly procurement, inventory, manufacturing, finance, warehousing and sales.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with tea industry-related businesses is strongly preferred.
- Specific experience in bulk tea export, value-added tea processing and retail distribution will be an advantage.
- Experience with Odoo 18.
- Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain and warehouse operations.
- Experience in business process improvement and re-engineering.
