PHP Developer - Laravel
About the role
Prime One Global is seeking a PHP Developer specializing in Laravel for a full-time, on-site position at their offices in Colombo, Vavuniya, or Jaffna. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using Laravel and PHP, collaborating with cross-functional teams, integrating front-end components, and participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Candidates should have at least 2 years of professional PHP development experience with Laravel, familiarity with relational databases, experience with RESTful APIs, and knowledge of version control systems. Must have
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in PHP development with a focus on the Laravel framework.
- Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases and a strong understanding of database design and optimization.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
Nice to have
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as Vue.js or React (preferred).
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure or other cloud-based services.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
