Lead – Data Evangelist
About the role
Surge Global is seeking a Lead – Data Evangelist to establish and institutionalize an organization-wide data governance framework and drive the execution of the company's data strategy. The role is responsible for ensuring data quality, security, and alignment with business priorities, as well as leading the Data Evangelist function to foster a data-driven culture and enable actionable insights. The position involves partnering with senior leaders, technology teams, and business stakeholders to manage data as a strategic asset, supporting innovation, compliance, and intelligent decision-making. The ideal candidate will mentor teams, promote best practices, and ensure adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
Must have
- Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Business Strategy & Transformation, Data/Information Management, Digital/Data Transformation, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
- A minimum of 06 years of work experience in the field of Data strategy, Analytics delivery, Data/Business management, Data governance, Data evangelism, Business Transformation or related fields.
Nice to have
- A professional certification in Business management, Finance, Data governance, Business strategy are recognized as value-added qualifications.
