About the role

The Business Development Executive at Synapse AI Labs will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities, particularly with organizations interested in AI-driven solutions. The role is full-time and on-site in Sri Lanka, involving market research, lead generation, proposal preparation, client meetings, solution presentations, negotiations, and coordination with internal teams for onboarding. The position also includes maintaining existing client relationships, gathering feedback, and collaborating with product and marketing teams to refine offerings and strategies. Candidates should have strong business development skills, a solid understanding of business fundamentals, and experience in sales or client-facing roles, ideally within technology or AI sectors.

Must have

Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with experience identifying and pursuing growth opportunities.
Solid understanding of business fundamentals and commercial decision-making, ideally within technology or AI-related sectors.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Account management capabilities, with experience nurturing client relationships and supporting long-term partnerships.
Relevant experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles; prior exposure to B2B technology or AI solutions is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Sri Lanka, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt in a fast-evolving environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills, with proficiency in CRM tools and basic productivity software.
