Senior SharePoint and Copilot Consultant
About the role
The Senior SharePoint and Copilot Consultant will design, implement, and optimize Microsoft 365 solutions, focusing on SharePoint Online, Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform. This hands-on consulting role involves delivering secure, scalable, and business-focused solutions, taking ownership of technical delivery, quality assurance, and client outcomes. The position requires strong technical expertise, independent problem-solving, proactive communication, and a commitment to exceptional client experiences. The role is with an established Australian technology consulting partner specializing in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Copilot, and AI-driven digital transformation, supporting clients in modernizing their digital workplaces.
Must have
- Extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing and managing SharePoint Online solutions
- Advanced understanding of SharePoint information architecture, including site structures, content types, metadata, navigation and permissions
- Proven experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio, particularly developing agents connected to SharePoint knowledge sources
- Strong understanding of Copilot readiness, including permissions governance, oversharing remediation, content quality and information lifecycle management
- Demonstrated experience delivering SharePoint migrations, tenant restructures and remediation projects
- Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and business process automation
- Proficiency in PowerShell for SharePoint administration, configuration and automation
- Ability to interpret technical requirements, work within defined project scopes and deliver solutions independently
- Excellent written English communication skills, with the ability to maintain clear technical documentation and provide proactive project updates
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated accountability, attention to detail and commitment to meeting agreed delivery standards
Nice to have
- Experience developing AI-powered solutions and intelligent agents beyond the Microsoft ecosystem
- Knowledge of custom connectors, API integrations and enterprise system connectivity
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development
- Previous experience supporting Australian clients or delivering solutions within Australian business environments
