IT Technician | Trainee IT Technician | Intern
About the role
Siddhalepa Group is seeking IT Technicians and Trainee IT Technicians/Interns to support their IT operations. The IT Technician role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment, as well as providing technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The Trainee IT Technician/Intern role focuses on assisting with IT equipment setup, troubleshooting, and supporting day-to-day IT operations under guidance. Both roles require maintaining documentation, following IT policies, and may involve travel to branch or subsidiary locations. The company is a leading Ayurvedic product manufacturer with a strong presence in Sri Lanka's health and leisure sectors.
Must have
- Diploma or NVQ Level 4 in Information Technology, Networking, or related field.
- Minimum 06 months of experience in IT support or technical support roles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- NVQ Level 4 in IT, Networking, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of networks, IP addressing, and basic troubleshooting (added advantage).
- Familiarity with CCTV, printers, or routers is an extra benefit.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills in Sinhala and basic English.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
