System Engineering Intern
About the role
Antler Foundry Private Limited is seeking a System Engineering Intern for a full-time, on-site position in Colombo. The intern will assist the system engineering team with designing, configuring, and maintaining IT infrastructure and systems for clients in various industries. Responsibilities include supporting system administration, monitoring performance, documenting configurations, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support under supervision. The role provides exposure to consulting projects, industry-standard tools, and best practices in systems design and operations. Candidates should have foundational skills in systems engineering, system administration, and technical support, along with a relevant academic background.
Must have
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Systems Engineering and L1 support
- Candidates should possess skills in System Administration and Technical Support.
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting abilities for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (undergraduate or recent graduate).
- Ability to learn quickly, follow technical documentation, and adhere to security and compliance guidelines.
- Effective communication skills, collaborative mindset, and willingness to work on-site with cross-functional teams in Colombo.
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows 10,11 /Server, Linux) and networking concepts is beneficial.
- 365 environment experience added advantage
