Solution Engineer – Data Communication
About the role
Huawei is seeking a Solution Engineer – Data Communication to support customer and partner solution development in IP Networking and Optical Communication technologies. The role involves designing, presenting, and supporting networking solutions, staying updated with advancements in AI, cloud, and ICT technologies, and developing expertise in AI-related infrastructure and integrated ICT solutions. Both fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply. The position requires collaboration with customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver technical solutions and support commercial opportunities.
Must have
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates from reputable universities with First Class or Second Class Upper / equivalent academic performance are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with relevant experience in networking, telecom, ICT infrastructure, or solution engineering are also welcome.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals such as IP, Routing, Switching, Ethernet, WAN, and network architecture.
- Strong willingness to continuously learn and adapt as technologies evolve.
- Open-minded and interested in expanding from traditional networking into AI and broader ICT solution areas.
- Confident, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable. Comfortable working in a multinational, competitive, and fast-changing technology environment
Nice to have
- Knowledge or exposure to Optical Communication, Transmission, or Optical Networking will be an added advantage.
- Interest in AI, cloud, data center, and emerging ICT technologies will be highly valued.
- Relevant Huawei, Cisco, or other industry certifications will be an advantage.
