Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – AWS, GCP & DigitalOcean
About the role
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and efficient cloud environments across AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and DigitalOcean. The role involves managing cloud infrastructure, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, administering Linux servers, maintaining Docker containers, configuring cloud networking, applying security best practices, supporting CI/CD pipelines, maintaining backups, and automating operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or Linux system administration, with strong practical experience in at least one cloud platform and working knowledge of AWS, GCP, and DigitalOcean. The position is onsite at WTC and requires working Monday to Saturday.
Must have
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or Linux system administration.
- Strong practical experience in at least one cloud platform, with working knowledge of AWS, GCP, and DigitalOcean.
- Good understanding of Linux administration, Docker, and container troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, routing, and secure remote access.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python for operational automation.
- Ability to investigate production issues, identify root causes, and communicate clearly with technical teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes or DigitalOcean Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience supporting web servers such as Nginx or Apache.
- Relevant AWS, GCP, or Linux certifications.
