Senior Engineer - Cyber Security - Managed Services
About the role
The Senior Engineer - Cyber Security - Managed Services role involves providing L2/L3 technical support for managed cyber security solutions in a 24×7 shift-based environment. The position is responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving security technology incidents and service requests, supporting a range of security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint security, WAF, NAC, and VPN. The engineer will manage incidents, service requests, and changes according to ITIL best practices, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to service improvement initiatives. The role requires collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure effective incident resolution and compliance with SLAs.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in the cyber security domain
- Exposure to cyber security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint security, web application security, or security monitoring solutions
- Good understanding of cyber security principles, security controls, and industry best practices
- Professional certifications such as Check Point, Palo Alto, Imperva, F5, Fortinet, Cisco Security, or equivalent
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
