Intern - QA
About the role
This internship position at Delmege Forsyth & Co. Ltd. is for a Quality Assurance Intern. The role involves supporting quality inspections, product testing, and quality documentation, as well as monitoring food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements. Interns will assist with audits, traceability, and quality system maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The position offers hands-on exposure to quality assurance, laboratory, warehouse, and compliance operations within a respected and diversified conglomerate in Sri Lanka.
Must have
- Final-year undergraduate or fresh graduate in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of food quality and food safety principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop knowledge in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Laboratory Testing, Auditing, and Regulatory Compliance.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Quality Management Systems will be an added advantage.
