Senior Software Engineer
About the role
The Senior Engineer (AS/400) Operations Center role is responsible for monitoring and managing all AS/400 environments, including main production systems, and executing daily, weekly, month-end, and fiscal year-end operational activities. The position involves supporting end users, managing backups and restorations, ensuring high availability of core systems, and providing guidance and training to junior engineers. The role also includes supporting the hosting team with annual server OS patching and ensuring timely completion of user requests and incidents according to service standards. The position is based in Sri Lanka and reports to the Manager – Operations Center.
Must have
- Minimum advance diploma in IT or Working experience of 5 years in AS/400 operations.
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills
- Good written and spoken English.
- Willing to work in 24*7 hours roster.
