About the role
The Head of Business Intelligence & Growth will lead the business intelligence function for a prominent FMCG/Manufacturing company in Colombo. This role is responsible for developing and managing data strategy, analytics, and reporting to support evidence-based decision-making. Key responsibilities include reviewing investment proposals, monitoring project performance post-investment, analyzing growth and market opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position also involves mentoring and developing a high-performing BI and analytics team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Must have
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Corporate Strategy, Investment Analysis, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading BI or analytics teams within a complex, fast-paced organization.
- Strong expertise in financial modelling, market analysis, and investment appraisal.
- Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) and advanced Excel/financial analysis skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into actionable strategies.
