AI Transformation Manager
About the role
The AI Transformation Manager will lead AI-driven transformation initiatives at a leading educational institution in Malabe, Sri Lanka. The role involves developing and executing an AI transformation roadmap, identifying and implementing AI use cases, and driving process improvements and automation across academic and administrative functions. The manager will collaborate with academic and research teams, establish AI governance and ethical practices, manage technology vendors, and promote AI awareness and capability-building among staff and students. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree, with a master's degree considered an advantage, and 4–6 years of experience in digital transformation, technology management, data analytics, AI, or innovation. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills are essential.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in digital transformation, technology management, data analytics, AI, or innovation.
- Proven experience in leading technology-enabled transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, automation platforms, and data governance.
- Excellent leadership, project management, communication, and change management skills.
Nice to have
- Master's Degree in AI, Data Science, Digital Transformation, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
