IT Officer
About the role
The IT Officer at Richard Pieris Finance will be based at the Head Office and is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting, first-level IT support for hardware, software, and network issues, and installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. The role also involves assisting users with account setup and maintenance, responding to technical support calls and emails, monitoring and maintaining LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity, performing basic server room tasks, installing and updating operating system drivers and business applications, ensuring adherence to IT policies and security practices, and helping maintain endpoint security and data backup processes. Candidates should have a diploma or NVQ Level 4/5 in IT or a related field, 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A Bachelor's Degree in IT is an added advantage but not compulsory. The company offers an attractive remuneration package and encourages applications within 7 days of the advertisement.
Must have
- Diploma or NVQ Level 4/5 in Information Technology, Computer Hardware, Networking or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Nice to have
- A Bachelor's Degree in IT will be an added advantage, but is not compulsory.
