DevOps Engineer
About the role
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud environments. The role involves working closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to automate software delivery, enhance system reliability, improve security, and ensure scalability and performance of applications. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), automating infrastructure provisioning, deploying and troubleshooting containerized applications, monitoring performance, implementing security best practices, and supporting incident resolution. The position is a 1-year contract at InSync Information Technologies Pvt Ltd, a company specializing in networks and network automation.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in DevOps engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration and fundamental networking concepts.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS or Azure
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Practical knowledge of Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of security best practices, IAM, networking, and secrets management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
