Consultant - SAP - ABAP
About the role
The Consultant - SAP FIORI/ABAP at Teejay Lanka PLC will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying SAP ABAP solutions to meet business and technical requirements. The role involves enhancing ABAP programs, translating functional requirements into technical specifications, performing unit testing and code reviews, and providing technical support for SAP projects and production activities. The consultant will also conduct root cause analysis, collaborate with functional consultants, ensure project deliverables meet standards, and prepare technical documentation. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and at least 2 years of relevant IT applications experience. The position is based at Teejay Lanka PLC, a leading textile manufacturer in South Asia.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any other related field.
- 2 or more years of relevant work experience in IT applications.
- Proven expertise in SAP project teams & working with vendors.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, meet deadlines and simultaneously develop, deploy, and coordinate multiple projects.
- Ability to successfully lead others as well as lead projects by projecting a positive attitude by motivating a team.
Nice to have
- Knowledge in SAP process Orchestrator is an advantage.
- SAP certification is an advantage.
