Executive - IT Infrastructure
About the role
The Executive - IT Infrastructure role at Metropolitan Technologies (Pvt) Ltd involves monitoring and supporting day-to-day data center operations, including servers and VMware infrastructure. The position is responsible for managing centralized data backup operations, administering Microsoft 365, Windows, and Linux environments, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with technology vendors. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, 1-2 years of experience in IT infrastructure or network administration, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in IT infrastructure/network administration.
- Knowledge of VMware, networking, firewalls, cloud technologies, endpoint security, Linux and Microsoft 365.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle critical IT issues.
- Good communication, vendor and stakeholder-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
Nice to have
- CCNA, Microsoft/Azure or VMware certifications would be an added advantage.
