Application Developer
About the role
The Application Developer role focuses on supporting and developing Zoho applications for a client specializing in technology, logistics, and digital transformation. Key responsibilities include administering and configuring Zoho applications such as Desk, CRM, Analytics, and Creator, building automations using Zoho Deluge scripting, supporting platform issues and integrations, analyzing operational data, and collaborating on AI-assisted service initiatives. The role also involves maintaining documentation and working closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into Zoho configurations. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in Zoho development or a related position, a relevant bachelor's degree, and proficiency in Zoho Deluge scripting, workflow automation, and data analysis.
Must have
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Zoho development or a related position.
- Bachelors in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or any related field.
- Proficient in Zoho Deluge scripting (custom functions, webhooks, scheduled functions).
- Hands-on experience with Workflow Rules, Blueprints, and process automation (Zoho Flow / Orchestrly).
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIS.
- Zoho certifications such as, Deluge Certified Developer, Creator Certified Developer, CRM Administrator.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with global stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Collaborative and customer-focused approach.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with BI and dashboarding tools (preferred).
- Experience with Zia (Zoho Al) or SalesIQ chatbot/bot-flow design (preferred)

Highlights
The position is based in Colombo 15 and follows a hybrid work mode. Zoho certifications such as Deluge Certified Developer, Creator Certified Developer, or CRM Administrator are required. Familiarity with BI tools and experience with Zoho AI or chatbot design are preferred but not mandatory.
