About the role
The Agentic Life Science Expert role is a contractor assignment focused on designing complex, realistic agentic scientific workflows in the life sciences. The position involves creating multi-step computational scientific tasks for AI agents, developing input files and datasets, and establishing reproducible solutions and grading criteria. Key responsibilities include ensuring the scientific and computational validity of workflows and outputs, as well as working with scientific datasets and tools. The role is remote, requires full-time commitment with some overlap during PST business hours, and offers compensation at $35 per hour. Applicants should have advanced research experience in life sciences and strong scientific programming skills, particularly in Python.
Must have
- Ph.D., postdoctoral, or equivalent research experience in the life sciences, with strong demonstrated computational and scientific-programming experience.
- Strong scientific programming experience, particularly in Python.
- Experience performing multi-step computational scientific analyses.
- Ability to independently validate both scientific reasoning and computational outputs.
- Experience working with scientific datasets, computational tools, and reproducible research workflows.
