Software / AI Engineering Intern – WhatsApp AI Automation (Contract)
About the role
CreativeX Technology is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join their team and contribute to the ongoing development of a WhatsApp AI Automation Project. The intern will work on an existing system that uses the Meta WhatsApp Business API to automate customer conversations, implement new features, fix issues, and enhance the reliability of the automation system. Responsibilities include developing the WhatsApp automation bot, integrating AI/LLM capabilities, working with backend APIs and databases, debugging, testing conversation flows, and collaborating with the team. The role offers hands-on experience with production systems, exposure to AI-powered automation, and the opportunity to work on real client requirements.
Must have
- JavaScript / TypeScript

- Basic database knowledge (Firebase)
- Meta WhatsApp Business API
- Understanding of webhooks and API integrations
- Undergraduate or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
- Strong interest in backend development, AI, and automation
- Comfortable learning unfamiliar technologies independently
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Able to understand and work with an existing codebase
- Responsible and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
