About the role
The Information Technology Executive at Kai Group of Companies will manage and support the group's IT infrastructure, digital platforms, and business-critical systems. This full-time, on-site role in Colombo involves overseeing day-to-day IT operations across hospitality, F&B, retail, and e-commerce businesses, troubleshooting technical issues, managing websites and e-commerce platforms, supporting POS and business systems, and ensuring IT security and data management. The position requires a blend of traditional IT support skills and experience with digital business applications, website administration, and e-commerce systems. Candidates should have a relevant diploma or degree and preferably 2–3 years of experience in IT operations or systems administration. Must have
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Preferably 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT operations, technical support, or systems administration.
- Experience managing websites, Shopify, WordPress, or similar content management and e-commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and hospitality-related applications.
- Practical knowledge of networking, Wi-Fi configuration, hardware maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of domains, hosting, basic website integrations, and payment gateways.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and general business software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple technical priorities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other Kai Group locations when required.
