Assistant Manager – Information Security
About the role
The Assistant Manager – Information Security will be responsible for developing and enforcing information security policies, managing cybersecurity risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting the organization's digital assets from cyber threats. Key duties include conducting risk assessments, audits, penetration testing, monitoring threat intelligence, managing network and endpoint security, leading incident response, and providing staff training on cybersecurity best practices. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in information security, IT risk management, or compliance. The position is with a well-established healthcare organization focused on advanced medical technologies.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in information security, IT risk management, or compliance.
- Expertise in firewalls, SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and threat intelligence.
- Experience in incident response, penetration testing, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or Security+ are preferred.
