Project Manager Intern (Scrum/Kanban)
About the role
Axceera is seeking a Project Management and Business Analysis Intern to join their software development team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This paid, 6-month internship offers hands-on experience in project management, business analysis, and Agile methodologies. The intern will assist with requirement gathering, documentation, project planning, and coordination among team members, as well as participate in Scrum ceremonies and maintain project management tools. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a basic understanding of SDLC, and familiarity with Agile methods, and should be currently studying for or recently completed a relevant degree.
Must have
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Confident communicating with stakeholders, team members and clients
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Currently studying for, or recently completed, a degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or a related field
- Familiarity with Agile methods, especially Scrum and Kanban
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work well in cross-functional teams
