Junior QA Engineer
About the role
The Junior QA Engineer will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing test scenarios, and creating and executing various types of test cases including functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing. The role involves logging and tracking defects using tools like Jira, validating fixes, maintaining test documentation, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure software quality. The position also includes participation in stand-ups, sprint planning, and QA reviews. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 1–2 years of manual testing experience, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and tools like Jira. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills are essential. The company is Aventude.

- Experience with web app testing and browser dev tools.
- Basic knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman).
- Exposure to automation is a plus.
