About the role

This role is for a Senior Tech Lead specializing in Microsoft Power Platform, based in Colombo. The position involves hands-on technical leadership, including architecting solutions, setting governance, and growing a developer team. Key responsibilities include leading the delivery of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions, designing secure and scalable data models, integrating with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and third-party APIs, and defining governance and security for the Power Platform estate. The role also includes mentoring developers and translating business needs into technical solutions. The company is an established IT services firm with a large delivery team in Colombo, focusing on enterprise applications, data, and AI.

Must have

8+ years in software or solution development, including 5–6+ years hands-on with Power Platform (lead-level roles look for 10+ / 6+)
Expert in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse
Custom development in Power Fx plus at least one of JavaScript, C#/.NET or Python
Solid with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth and Microsoft Graph
Experience leading or mentoring a technical team
Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent
