About the role
E-Nenasala Peradeniya is seeking a qualified and experienced Cyber Security Lecturer to join their academic team. The role involves delivering engaging and practical online lectures via Zoom, explaining technical concepts, guiding students through real-world cybersecurity scenarios, supporting their technical and career development, and preparing relevant learning materials and assessments. The position is focused on fostering a professional and supportive learning environment for students pursuing cybersecurity education.
Must have
- A relevant degree / higher academic qualification in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Cyber Security concepts, tools, and practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and continuous learning
Nice to have
- Relevant industry experience and/or professional certifications will be an added advantage
- Previous teaching or lecturing experience is preferred
