Senior Operations Specialist
About the role
The Senior Operations Specialist will support and enhance Driver and Courier Operations by leveraging data analysis and operational insights to drive process improvements. The role involves a balanced mix of data analysis and business/operations analysis, including monitoring performance, analyzing data with SQL and Excel, preparing reports and dashboards, and collaborating with both internal stakeholders and frontline staff. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to operational teams. Experience in logistics or business analysis is advantageous.
Must have
- 2 years of experience in Operations, Finance, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Management, IT, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of finance, customer behavior, purchasing power, and business operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with operational teams and translate data into actionable insights.
- Sinhala required to communicate effectively with drivers.
Nice to have
- English is an advantage.
- Experience in Driver/Courier Operations, Logistics, or Business Analysis will be an added advantage.
