Business Analyst
About the role
The Business Analyst role is based onsite in Kadawatha within the Manufacturing & Electrical Solutions industry. The position is responsible for analyzing business operations, processes, and performance data to support management decision-making and drive process improvements. Key responsibilities include business analysis, process mapping, data analysis, reporting, supporting business systems and projects, and engaging with stakeholders to facilitate business improvements. The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or related fields, with strong skills in data analysis, process improvement, and business intelligence tools. Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Business Management, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, management reporting, process improvement, or project coordination.
- Strong knowledge of business requirements gathering and analysis methodologies.
- Experience in process mapping and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong data analysis and visualization capabilities.
- Experience developing KPI reports, dashboards, and management reports.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Understanding of ERP systems and business process workflows.
- Strong experience in cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies.
- Excellent documentation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
Nice to have
- Professional qualification in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Data Analytics will be an added advantage.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment will be highly preferred.

Highlights
