Assistant Engineering Manager
About the role
The Assistant Engineering Manager/Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading the engineering, project, and service operations for a generator importer and service company based in Welisara, Sri Lanka. The role involves overseeing the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of generator systems and power solutions. The manager will also lead and develop technical teams, support sales with technical expertise, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and monitor departmental performance and budgets. Candidates should have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and a customer-focused approach.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in power generation, generators, industrial equipment, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel generators, ATS panels, synchronization systems, and power distribution networks.
- Proven experience in project management and technical team leadership.
