Senior Analyst – Digital Offline Payment Systems
About the role
The Senior Analyst – Digital Offline Payment Systems at LankaPay Private Limited is responsible for monitoring and maintaining digital offline payment applications, systems, and infrastructure. The role involves identifying and addressing abnormalities, incidents, and performance issues, ensuring service levels and operational standards are met, and investigating and resolving technical issues to minimize disruption to payment operations. The candidate will also ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements and perform administrative duties related to system management. The position requires a degree or equivalent in a relevant field and significant experience in IT/payment systems operations, with a focus on service-level management and technical troubleshooting. LankaPay offers a collaborative environment focused on national digital payment services.
Must have
- A Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institute.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT/payment systems operations, including at least 3 years of experience in service-level management, payment processing, system operations, or a similar environment.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems, databases, application servers, monitoring tools, and payment system control/operational tools.
- Exhibit leadership through personal responsibility, accountability and teamwork
- Ability to resolve technically complex customer issues, demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse audiences including IT professionals and technical managers
- Willingness and ability to work on a shift-based 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the operational environment.
