Senior DevOps Engineer (Evergreen)

The Senior DevOps Engineer (Evergreen) role at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is part of a talent community in Colombo, Sri Lanka, aimed at connecting with experienced DevOps professionals for current and future opportunities. Key responsibilities include designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, improving system reliability, standardizing DevOps workflows, troubleshooting deployment and infrastructure issues, and automating operational tasks across the application lifecycle. Candidates are expected to have strong technical mastery, a continuous learning mindset, and hands-on experience with relevant tools and platforms. Must have
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands on experience with Linux environments. Ability to troubleshoot system level issues (processes, networking, disk, memory).
- Ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Experience automating workflows to reduce manual intervention and deployment risk. Ability to debug pipeline failures and improve reliability over time.
- Hands on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning. Experience using Ansible or similar tools for configuration management
- Strong experience with Docker and containerized workloads. Practical knowledge of Kubernetes: deployments, services, scaling, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands on experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate operational tasks. Working knowledge of SQL for operational queries, troubleshooting, and analysis.
