Intern Software Engineer (PHP Laravel)
About the role
Quantix Global is seeking an Intern Software Engineer (PHP Laravel) to join their on-site team in Pelawatta, Sri Lanka. The intern will work on real client projects, building and maintaining web applications and ERP modules using PHP Laravel, developing and integrating REST APIs, working with MySQL databases, and translating Figma designs and SRS documents into functional features. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced developers, business analysts, designers, and QA engineers, and may lead to a permanent position based on performance.
Must have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree from a recognized university in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Strong hands-on knowledge of PHP and Laravel
- Good knowledge of MySQL
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and REST APIs
- Basic knowledge of Git
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude

- Added advantage: Node.js and MongoDB
