Lead GenAI Engineer
About the role
The Lead GenAI Engineer role involves building and enhancing backend services, APIs, and microservices using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Node.js. The position requires designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable web applications with modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, and TypeScript. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, develop and integrate RESTful APIs and cloud-based services across Azure, AWS, and GCP, and implement secure coding and performance optimization standards. Additional responsibilities include supporting CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, troubleshooting technical issues, partnering with Quality Engineering teams, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers.
Must have
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience
- 8 years of overall professional experience in software engineering cloud application development, automation, or AI solution delivery
- 5 years of hands-on experience across Java Springbok Kafka Cucumber React JS nodes Python SQL, application development and enterprise solution implementation
- 4 years of hands-on experience delivering AI Agentic AI LLM-based GenAI or RAG-based projects in a production or enterprise environment
- Cloud Platforms Hands-on Azure/GCP cloud-native design deployment integration support
- AI Dev Tools GitHub/M365 Copilot Codex Claude VS Code AI-assisted development
- Frameworks MCP Skilled in LangGraph LangChain CrewAI MCP-based patterns
- RAG Search Vector DBs embeddings Azure AI Search NLP
- Core Engineering APIs microservices scalable design testing security
