Graphic Designer
About the role
SEVEN MEDIA GROUP is seeking a full-time, on-site Graphic Designer in Colombo. The role involves creating and adapting visual assets for both digital and print channels, such as social media content, marketing materials, presentations, and campaign collateral. The Graphic Designer will develop concepts, design layouts, refine brand visuals, and prepare production-ready files while collaborating with creative and marketing teams. Responsibilities also include interpreting briefs, presenting design options, iterating based on feedback, and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project timelines. The position supports integrated campaigns and helps maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
Must have
- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a portfolio demonstrating creative and commercially relevant work.
- Experience in Logo Design and Branding, including creating and evolving visual identities for brands.
- Proficiency in Typography and layout design, with attention to detail in hierarchy, readability, and aesthetics.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and related software).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with openness to feedback and iterative design processes.
Nice to have
- Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in digital media, motion graphics, or UI design will be an added advantage.
