QA Automation Lead
About the role
Fortuna Global is seeking an experienced and technically strong QA Automation Lead to head their quality engineering and test automation function. The role involves leading, mentoring, and providing technical guidance to the QA and test automation team, defining QA strategies, developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, and executing API and performance testing. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in test automation, a proven leadership track record, and strong hands-on skills with frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, and tools for API and load testing. Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with significant experience in test automation and a proven track record in a QA leadership or technical lead role.
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation framework development.
- Excellent experience with Playwright and/or Selenium, with programming experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Strong experience in API testing, including REST/SOAP services.
- Experience in performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter, Locust, k6, Gatling, or similar.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum software development and QA methodologies.
