Solution Architect - OSS | BSS
About the role
The Solution Architect - OSS/BSS will be responsible for supporting the availability, performance, and continuous improvement of Mobitel’s Charging and related telecom platforms. The role involves managing the operation of the Online Charging System (OCS), participating in incident management, maintaining architecture documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry frameworks and best practices. The position also requires leading system integration projects, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Candidates must have a relevant degree and significant experience in OSS/BSS operations, telecom network elements, and system integration.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in OSS/BSS operations and maintenance, specifically in Charging, Mediation, Provisioning, Roaming & Settlement, or Billing systems.
- Strong knowledge of OSS/BSS configurations, integrations, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in telecom network elements, CAMEL and Diameter protocols, and related interfaces.
- Hands-on experience in UNIX scripting and Oracle databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of API design (REST/SOAP), ESB, middleware, and microservices architecture.
- Experience integrating OSS/BSS platforms with network and third-party systems.
