Lead Automation Architect
About the role
The Lead Automation Architect will be responsible for designing, architecting, and delivering enterprise-scale business process automation solutions, with a focus on integrating Generative AI and Agentic AI into digital transformation projects. The role involves leading automation engineers, collaborating with business analysts and customers, and ensuring the quality and performance of automation initiatives. The position requires hands-on experience with leading BPA and RPA platforms, as well as a strong background in software engineering and enterprise integrations. The company is seeking candidates with significant experience in automation architecture and leadership within large enterprises, particularly in the banking and financial services sectors.
Must have
- 8-10+ years of IT experience with a strong software engineering background.
- Expertise in Java, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, APIs, enterprise integrations, and database design.
- Hands-on architecture experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation, Pega, Appian, Camunda, or similar enterprise BPA platforms. Experience with RPA platforms such as Automation Anywhere, UiPath, or IBM RPA.
- Knowledge of React.js or Angular.js for UI customization and enhancements
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, IBM watsonx Orchestrate, Microsoft Copilot Studio, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar platforms
- Experience leading technical teams and delivering digital transformation solutions for Banking, Financial Services, or large enterprises
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Certifications in IBM Cloud Pak, Pega, Appian, Camunda, Generative AI, or Agentic AI platforms will be a strong advantage.
