Microsoft 365 & Entra ID Cloud Engineer
About the role
Expernetic is seeking a Microsoft 365 & Entra ID Cloud Engineer to support a global enterprise client. The role involves administering and securing Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments, managing identity and access controls, configuring enterprise applications, and developing automation scripts using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph. The candidate will also support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams, troubleshoot integration and security issues, and maintain technical documentation. Applicants should have 3–5+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of identity security, and hands-on skills in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API/SDK. The position offers the opportunity to work with large-scale Microsoft cloud environments and collaborate with experienced engineering teams.
Must have
- 3–5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, or Microsoft cloud administration.
- Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, SSO, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and identity security.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API/SDK.
- Experience managing enterprise applications, service principals, certificates, and API permissions.
- Experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
- Understanding of RBAC, least privilege, security governance, and compliance.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Nice to have
- Entra ID P2, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Identity Protection.
- Microsoft Defender, Purview, Sentinel, or Azure security experience.
- Experience with multi-tenant enterprise environments.
- Microsoft certifications such as SC-300 or MS-102.
