About the role

Surge Global is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Product Suite) for a 1-year contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance. The role involves leading client discovery sessions, managing onboarding processes, acting as the primary functional contact for clients, supporting sales with solution demonstrations, translating client needs into user stories, and collaborating with product, engineering, and QA teams. The analyst will also mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of experience in business analysis or functional consulting, and strong business process, analytical, and communication skills. The position is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and supports clients globally.

Must have

Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in business analysis or functional consulting, including system implementations on a SaaS or enterprise business application.
Strong understanding of core business operations such as finance, sales, procurement, inventory, and HR.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in process mapping, fit gap analysis, and requirements gathering.
Strong critical thinking and sound judgment, with the ability to work smart and deliver efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead client workshops and manage stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple clients at once while thinking beyond a single client to shape scalable product features.

Nice to have

Certifications in business analysis are a plus.
