Consultant - Application Server
About the role
HCLTech is hiring an experienced Application Server Consultant to manage, support, and optimize enterprise application server environments, focusing on Oracle Fusion Middleware and WebLogic Administration. The role involves installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining Oracle Fusion Middleware components, administering environments across various stages, deploying application packages, and supporting platform upgrades and migrations. The consultant will provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot outages and performance issues, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure high availability and security compliance. Additional responsibilities include monitoring, automation, performance tuning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support CI/CD and operational excellence initiatives. Candidates should have over 10 years of relevant hands-on experience, strong expertise in Oracle Middleware, and solid Linux/Unix administration skills.
Must have
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Middleware and WebLogic Administration.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA Suite, OSB, ODI, BAM, and WebLogic Server.
- Solid Linux/Unix administration experience.
- Experience with Apache Web Server and Oracle HTTP Server (OHS).
- Knowledge of CI/CD deployment processes and tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, automation, and performance-tuning skills.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) WebLogic Server certification is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Highlights
