Network Engineer
About the role
The Network Engineer at J.N. Interiors (Pvt) Ltd will manage and support network infrastructure, connectivity, and IT systems across various projects and office operations. The role involves ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient network performance, providing technical support, and coordinating network-related installations. Key responsibilities include designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure, managing network equipment, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, maintaining documentation, implementing security measures, and supporting users and project teams. Candidates should have a relevant degree, at least three years of experience, and strong technical and communication skills.
Must have
- BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in network administration or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and network security.
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and network monitoring tools.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to provide support at project sites when required.
Nice to have
- Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
